About Sweet Souls Society
Education, advocacy, community and access to insulin — for every family living with Type 1 Diabetes.
About the organisation
Sweet Souls Society is a registered, community-driven non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, youth, and adults living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). Founded in 2014 by Dishana Kidambi and her parents after their personal journey with Type 1 Diabetes, the organization has grown from just 10 members to a strong network of 1,500+ families across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
We support people with T1D through education, awareness programs, emotional counseling, advocacy, and access to essential diabetes supplies. Our belief is simple yet powerful: every person with Type 1 Diabetes deserves a healthy, confident, and stigma-free life with uninterrupted access to insulin, medical guidance, and community support.
